Tiffany Box Nails

It's finally time for me to enjoy my summer! I've been nail polish deprived for a couple of months. Finally, I can wear nail polish again! I bought a few new nail polish that I've been dying to try out. One of the nail polish I bought was Essie's Mint Candy Apple. I fell in love with it just like every other nail fanatic. I finally got a chance to wear it and I thought the Tiffany box would be a nice nail art to do.

Material Used:
OPI Nail Envy: Love it! I use it as a base coat every time I wear nail polish, not only did it protect my nails, it  make my nails quite strong.
Essie Mint Candy Apple: Another favorite for sure!
Finger Paints Top coat: This top coat is new too, it was recommend by the sales lady at Sally's. It's the first time I used it on my hands, when I used it on my feet, I noticed it chips pretty easily. It's only been on my nails for one day, and my nails has already started chipping. I'm probably going to try another one once this one is done.

Ebay Haul

Last year, I bought some fauxnad plates from ebay. They're okay, but since I couldn't buy the konad polish, I have been using regular polish. I've been thinking about buying the konad polish, but I just haven't gotten the chance. Anyway, I went on vacation a while back, and when I came back, I couldn't find the stamper. I only have the scraper. Now if this was the other way around, it would work out fine, i probably would use an old id card as the scraper. Since I lost the stamper, it's now hopeless for me -.-" I thought, maybe it's the time to invest in the real deal. I haven't bought it yet, but i'm thinking about buying it soon. Wowsocool.com has a new coupon code. You can save 6.99 if your purchase is above $35 with "wowsocool". Anyway, I was planning to do some nail art, unfortunately with all this moving around and going on vacation, I lost my dotting tool as well -.-" I thought maybe I should buy one of those 5 dotting tools instead. They're a lot cheaper than the one I bought from Sally's. So I started reading other people's blogs and found there are some really awesome nail art stuff. So I went ahead and bought a bunch of stuff. I can't wait til it comes. I'll post it up when it comes. =)

Seche Vite

Omg. I love the seche vite top coat =) It is much more better than my previous nail polish. I've had my nail art on for almost a week now. and It still looks great =) Although it is quite pricey at sally's but it was well worth the money spent. I really encourage everyone who's never tried it to try it. =)

Happy New Year =)

Happy New Year everyone. May the new year bring you everything you've hoped for and more.
It's been a while since I blogged about my nail obsession. I haven't really been able to do any nail art while I'm away at school. Also, as a first year student, I don't really have money to be always buying nail polish and nail art tools either. xD
Looking back at my last post reminded me of that nail polish. My golden nugget nail polish now is too thick to work with. So I can no longer use it. A few of my nail polish has become a very thick and I can't use them anymore. Sadly all the ones that dried up at my favorite. Golden Nugget, Bamboo Shoot and Turquoise. They're all part of the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear series.
Anyway, I did a bit a of haul during the holidays and yesterday. I bought 7 nail polish and a top coat.
During the holidays, I wanted some new nail polishes since my nail polish dried up. I went to a store called Designer Cosmetics and they sold Color Club neutral nail polish colours for 3 for $1. I bought the other two colours at the department store. I don't really have any purple shades so I thought they would look really nice.
Yesterday, my friends and I had a day off, so we went to Sally's. Oh what a trip. But atleast we got there and back. Though, it was quite cold. >.<. I bought the China glaze nail polish because I hear it on youtube all the time. I stood there for a long time, finally picking that colour. I loved all the colours, too bad, I couldn't afford to buy all the colours >.<. I also bought a small white nail polish, but I forgot to take a picture of that. I bought a dotting tool too, it was a two way dotting tool from sally's. It can be used as a dotting tool as well as a brush. I thought it was pretty cool =)

Golden Nugget

Of all my nail polishes, Sally Hansen's golden nugget is probably my favorite. I don't know why, but I just love the colour. Anyway, I played around with the nails art pen more this morning, and make my mani look like quite a mess, so I decided to do another mani instead.

The pictures are not really clear, I'm still trying to work on that. I know it looks better in the sun, but being outside is such a pain. I mean the weather is too hot. Anyways, let me know how you guys take your nail picture to get a clearer effect. ^^

For this one, I basically used a clear coat before painted the diagonal strip, then I used my Kiss nail art pen and painted a thin line. I really like how it turned out.

Recently I bought a blow monkey nail dryer on ebay. It came yesterday and I was so happy, I tried it today. It works surprisingly well. It dries my nails really fast. All you need are two triple A batteries, and it'll start blowing on your nails when you put your hand on his bananas. On top of that, It's super cute!

Enjoy you day ^^
